We’re looking for a full-time, in-person Video Editor to join the team and help take our content to the next level. You’ll work closely with the creative team to turn raw footage into engaging, impactful videos distributed across YouTube, social media platforms, and beyond.
In this role, you’ll do more than just editing—you’ll have creative freedom, brainstorm alongside the rest of the team, and play a major role in how we tell stories visually.
This is an in-person position based in Rishikesh, India so we’re looking for someone already living here (or planning to relocate soon).

THE ROLE
Here’s a quick snapshot of what you’ll be doing as our Video Editor:
Video Editing & Post-Production:
- Cutting and assembling raw footage into polished content for YouTube, social media, and other platforms.
- Adding transitions, music, sound effects, subtitles, and graphics to match the tone and style of our brand.
- Colour grading and ensuring high-quality audio for every video.
- Working with multiple formats and creating different versions optimized for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Creative Collaboration
- Collaborating with the team to brainstorm video concepts and storyboards.
- Suggesting creative ideas for improving visual storytelling and content flow.
- Watching trends in the video content space and suggesting ways to keep our videos fresh and relevant.
Content Optimization
- Helping ensure our videos align with the latest platform algorithms and best practices.
- Repurposing long-form content into shorter, bite-sized clips for social media platforms.
- Testing new formats, styles, and strategies to improve audience engagement.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A solid background in video editing with professional experience (show us your portfolio!).
- Expertise in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar.
- Strong storytelling skills—the ability to transform raw ideas and footage into magic.
- A great eye for detail in composition, pacing, and design.
- Knowledge of different social media platforms and how video needs to be optimized for each one.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- An open mind for collaboration and feedback.
- Based in Rishikesh, India (or already planning to relocate here).
NICE TO HAVES
Not mandatory, but bonus points if you bring:
- Motion graphics and animation skills.
- Experience with YouTube content creation or strategy.
- Familiarity with productivity and self-development content.
- Photoshop or graphic design skills.
- A love for staying on top of digital/creative trends.
IMPORTANT NOTES
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Rishikesh, India. You’ll work from 10am-6pm. You may occasionally need to step up outside of normal hours to meet deadlines or support time-sensitive projects.
